New Trail - "DC Drop"
A New Trail cut through the trees, previously inaccessible, now thanks to reconfigured Double Chairlift Unloading Area and Ridgeline you can ski new terrain! Drops you down from Ridgeline, between the trees of Alpine Glade and Double Cross Trails, back to the Alpine Cross Trail.
West Parking Lot Expansion
Increased parking by cutting away large portion of banked hill in West Parking Lot.
Earth Moving from Parking Lot Expansion to select Slope Transitions
Used dirt from Parking Lot for better transitions on select slopes, saving on snowmaking required to create the same transitions on New Ridgeline Trail, Pine Cone, Upper Cut, and West Woods Trails.
New Concrete Parking Lot out from Locker Rooms and Adaptive Snow Sports Center
Increasing efficiency with marked parking spaces and additional handicapped spots out from Adaptive Snow Sports Center.
New Wood Deck with Ski Racks at Ski Lodge Cafeteria
Just outside of Lucky’s Cafeteria windows.
New Alpine Lift Top Hut
Construction of this New Hut provides warmth and protection from the elements for Lift Operators and new wiring for Lift controls.
Snowmaking Improvements
New Snowmaking pipeline from bottom-to-top of West Woods Trail, with shut-off valve at bottom, all installed and ready to go! To be sure we are giving the Snowmaking System the right treatment to deliver the best snow conditions for you, we are going through our higher hour workhorses by refurbishing 10 Snow Guns each Off-Season with new hoses, components, and compressors.
We are ready for another fantastic Season and can't wait for you to join us! Our typical Winter Season runs from December into March, with our goal to begin Snowmaking just as soon as temps drop below 29F... hoping for around Thanksgiving time!
